Position: Fire & Emergency Services Researcher
Candidates with Fire/EMS experience who have a strong interest in public safety research are considered. Familiarity with research methods, statistical analysis, and relational databases is desirable. Candidates should have excellent analytic and writing skills. A Bachelor's Degree in a related area is required and a Master's Degree is a plus.
Position: Fire & Emergency Services Analyst
Candidates with Fire/EMS experience who have a strong interest in public safety analysis are considered. Familiarity with Fire and Emergency Service provisions, equipment, stations, codes & standards, and operations is required. Candidates must have excellent analytic and writing skills as well as the ability to work independently at a variety of work locations. Candidates must be willing to travel. Candidates should have 5 or more years' experience in management of fire and emergency services operations. A Bachelor's Degree is required and a Master's Degree is a plus.
Position: Computer Programmer
Candidates with programming experience who have a strong interest in working in a dynamic environment are considered. Familiarity with Microsoft Access, SQL Server, ColdFusion programming, graphical interfaces, computer graphics and streaming media is desirable. Candidates must be able to work independently yet meet production requirements. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A skills equivalency will be required.
Position: Industrial Engineer
Candidates with industrial engineering backgrounds who have a strong interest in working on multiple technical programs in support of various projects will be considered. Candidates will be responsible for systems analysis, environmental engineering, and public safety research. Familiarity with research methods, statistical analysis, and relational databases is desirable. Candidates should have excellent analytic and writing skills as well as the ability to work independently in a variety of work locations. A Bachelor's Degree is required and a Master's Degree is a plus.
